This tab contains all posts that user has shared with his/her favourites group. The user can remove or add friends to their favourites list at any time. Whom a user removes from their favourites group will not be notified. The Facebook-owned company also rolled out location stories and hashtag stories for the Explore tab.

Instagram has not specified that how many people can be added to a single favourite list but we can expect between 10 – 30 people can be added to the friend list. And people on a friend’s favourites will see their posts with the green badge.

Robby Stein, product lead in Instagram said: “People are trying to hack Instagram to create smaller audiences, and we are trying to recognize that.”

Instagram has over 700 million monthly users, recently Instagram added new features. Now users can Archive their posts, and make archives public at the desired time. All archived posts placed in private. Means these will not visible to followers.
